Story is set in Mysore around dussera celebrations. Author Kavitha Mandana started her writing career in advertising. She has written extensively for Deccan Herald’s children’s supplement and its school edition. She has eight published story books to her credit. She has worked with publishers like Puffin, Karadi Tales, Pratham and Red turtle.

Nayantara surendranath is a visual artist, illustrator and animator. She primarily works with dry pastels, charcoals, inks and watercolor pencils. She is also an art teacher to little budding artists.
