The BFG

Hello readers,

Time to visit a Giant country where you would meet a dream catcher. Be nice as he has the power to weave all sorts of dreams.

Book : THE BFG

Author : Roald Dahl

Illustrator : Quentin Blake

Publisher : Puffin

Age group : 8 and above

A perfect book for a dreamer. The story is about a cute little girl Sophie who befriends a Giant. Not all Giants are good but The BFG is the kindest and most friendly Giant. They both team up to rid the world of nasty Giants. The most amazing part of the book is the usage of some extremely extraordinary words like, frobscottle, crodscollop, hopscotchy, trogglehumper, time twiddled, humbug, human bean… and many more.

All the characters in the book are well portrayed. Even the nasty Giants will make you laugh as they are afraid to get wet. The illustrations are subtle and eye catching. The plot is very interesting and funny. A child would not leave the book once started. Book is around 200 pages so let the child decide their own pace.

Once the child completes the book you can also show him/her the movie.

⭐️⭐️⭐️⭐️⭐️

A good read . Highly recommended

Thank you
